Emulsified oil oil, water and additives are mixed together to form water-in-oil particles, the diameter of the order of microns, stable period of 3 months or even half a year, difficult to manufacture. The first is the choice of additives. It is related to calorific value, flash point, stability period and other factors of fuel. Fuel economy should also be considered. Additive performance is good, but if not economical, emulsified oil is more expensive than diesel or gasoline, obviously there is no market, so there is no future. A lot of our research may be a big reason why it's not available on the market. Therefore, the selection of additives requires a large number of experiments to optimize the ideal additive formulation, depending on the different application objects.
Emulsified oils can be prepared by mechanical stirring, shearing, and atomizing of oil, water, and additives in a proportional mix.
Oil, water and additives can reportedly be emulsified by ultrasound after initial mixing with machinery. Ultrasonic reactions are called sonochemistry. In acoustic chemistry, phacoemulsification can accelerate the chemical reaction process, improve the reaction yield, avoid some side effects and reduce the reaction conditions. When the ultrasonic wave propagates in the liquid medium, it will produce mechanical, thermal, cavitation and other mechanisms, and produce a series of effects on the acoustic medium. The main advantage of phacoemulsification is that it does not use surfactants or less. The ultrasonic generator transmits energy to the oil through a sensor. Currently, 10kW/h kilolitre processing equipment is available. It has been reported that magnetization technology is used for fuel emulsification.
First of all, the appropriate drawing oil should be selected according to the different requirements of the drawing process, and the formula design characteristics of each product are different. Under the premise of balancing the comprehensive characteristics, the principle of selecting some characteristics generally considers the process and oil, that is, the process considers: drawing type, liquid supply system, wire type, wire diameter and surface condition requirements; Oil characteristics: lubrication, oxidation resistance, cleanliness, concentration, service life, emulsification stability, cost, etc.
Since emulsified oil is a so-called unstable system, it is very important to master the proper use of emulsion. Special attention should be paid to the following aspects in use:
(1) System cleaning: The cleaning of the drawing machine and its centralized liquid supply system can be achieved by using appropriate cleaning agent. Special attention is paid to removing biofilms attached to pool walls. If the system is dirty or contaminated by biological bacteria, alkaline pretreatment is recommended. Adding base will make foam, so add it in two or three steps.
(2) The mixture should use soft water or deionized water. Because most of the lotion is water. The hard components in the water react chemically with the emulsifiers in the drawing oil, reducing the amount of emulsifiers and separating the oil from the water. Therefore, the hardness of water has a great influence on the stability of the emulsion, and the salt produced by the reaction will adhere to the surface of the copper wire, affecting the subsequent processing. Therefore, deionized water must be used in the preparation of emulsions for drawing or enamelled wire.
